Spaceflight Records Partnership
Toadies are excited to announce a new partnership with Austin’s pioneering Spaceflight Records (home to Die Spitz, The Sword, Heartless Bastards, and more) for the release of their upcoming album The Charmer.
Spaceflight’s bold, artist-first nonprofit model challenges traditional industry norms by prioritizing empowerment, equity, diversity, and representation, while creating a sustainable ecosystem where artists can truly benefit from their work.
“Another cool thing about Spaceflight is that, as a nonprofit record label (the first of its kind) their mission is to support artists and promote inclusivity and diversity in the industry. These are people and ideas we’re genuinely proud to associate with,” the band shares. “Having been in this industry for over 30 years, we really appreciate Spaceflight’s artist-friendly arrangement. We fully own our masters, earn a fair royalty, and if we sell a bunch of records, everyone benefits, including the less-established artists on the label. That’s a pretty incredible setup.”
