I keep waiting to see some other comments about the Dia de Los event – so I guess I’ll throw out a few words. I know it has been a while since that pertect day but I just wanted to congratulate the band and all those involved in putting that together. We went to the first one and our family enjoyed that one as well, but the improvements this year were significant. From the site, to the concessions, to the show and just the general atmosphere, it was a smash hit with us. I felt comfortable letting my two girls (8 and 12) swim and play in the water with the lifeguards keeping a close eye on them, I checked in a few times and only left them about 45 minutes total but it was comforting to know they were safe. If I waited in line for anything it was maybe one minute for beer, food, or the bathroom. People were playing football, frisbee, chatting – the mariachis (spelling?) were great and added a great opening to the Toadies. The lineup was excellent – like last year – the Secret Machines gained a new fan. Hope to make the New Years Eve show in Dallas. Thanks for another great show.
