Clark ~ Not to be a critic or anything, but you must update your blog more than once a week!

    Thanks for the blog Clark,

Its amazing how mundane everyday shit, can be so interesting when you apply it to a road tour.

I’d like to ask you some questions on your guitar tone, etc. if you would take the time and give me the opportunity to do so. You guys (Toadies) are commendable in that you’re keeping the straight up in your face no bullshit music alive and well……thank God we don’t have to listen to the top 40 all the time!

    Oh yeah,

thanks again for grinding out Velvet for me in Atlanta, Ga last year. I was the buffoon who held up the home-made Velvet sign. What an awesome show that was!!

That was my favorite t-shirt I gave to vaden. I hope he takes good care of it. I miss it already. I miss you guys too. I’m so glad you came to iowa. A small town woman doesnt get much excitement until she’s gone to a toadies show. It’s the second one I’ve been to and the second one was the better one. why was it better? Well the first time I saw you guys was at lalla last aug. This time ……….. small bar. You guys looked more relaxed in a smaller atmosphere. You put on a better show. This is going to sound really creepy. I’m 37. Never married. No children. And probably never will get married or have children because I live in a fantasy world. My mind races with lyrics for your band. Ive never been able to get with reality. Such as having an infatuation with Todd for the last 20 yrs. I actually looked and saw he wasnt wearing a ring. It’s his eyes. Wicked brown eyes. Something happens to my soul when I look at him. My point…….. I dont feel like I’m the only person in the world that’s lost when I listen to your music. I think the lost people are the one’s with the greater souls and the better lyrics. Sounds crazy but I love you guys. And Todd in love.

I was a fan before, but since seeing you guys in concert, i have a new found love. Absolutely amazing! I also enjoyed the closeness of the setting it was in, awesome energy. Clark, you are quite fun to watch…..major eye candy 🙂

I’ve seen The Toadies the 2 times they’ve come to Salt Lake. The first time was with the Butthole Surfers and the 2nd at a smaller bar. Each time was awsome!! You’re fans here in SLC can’t wait for your show to get rescheduled! Thank you for soooo many years of such amazing music!

Okay, I’m flying to Phoenix to see your show in Scottsdale in July, and I live on the east coast. So, can I put in a request? I mean, after all the effort and expense, don’t I at least deserve a request?

Please play your cover of “A Forest.” Sure, you guys didn’t write it and all, and there may be some ego involved and all that bullshit, but honestly, I am an old-time Cure fan, and you guys do more than justice to this song! In fact, although it may be blasphemous, I must say that you actually improve upon it, as if that were even possible.

Just throwing it out there and all . . .

I met you at the radio station – Mix 93.1, Tyler, Tx. You played at Clicks on Thursday. My name is Allie, obviously, but have never had the pleasure of conversating with you. Wish I had the chance. Perhaps I’ll see you at the station again…hopefully, you won’t be as rushed 🙂
